President

As our firm’s President, Gord is responsible for overall management of the brokerage, in addition to caring for the insurance needs of his own commercial clients. Gord enjoys mentoring newer brokers on insurance knowledge and working with businesses that have complex insurance needs. He has a specific interest in the areas of legal liability and tort law. He loves the family atmosphere in the office and is well known for creating zany bets or competitions with his colleagues. A past-president of the UNBC Alumni Association, Gord has been a longtime volunteer in many capacities at his alma mater, and has served with a number of other community groups, including the PG Community Association and the Northern Regional Construction Association.

Gord attended the University of Northern BC and in 2001 obtained his Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing. He earned his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (Honours) designation in 2000, and became a Chartered Insurance Professional in 2010.

In his personal time Gord loves to travel, ski, and golf with his wife Nicole and son Ewan, and spend time with their Irish Terrier Jules.
