At Brownridge & Company Insurance, we feel strongly about the people of Northern B.C. and the Prince George region, and make a point of giving back to the community we call home.  In addition to individual donations and sponsorships, Brownridge & Company has made major commitments to several important charitable causes.

  • University of Northern British Columbia

Both the Brownridge family and our brokerage have been strong supporters of UNBC since the beginning. Gord & TR Brownridge are both UNBC graduates, Brian has served on UNBC's Board of Governors, and Gord is a past President of the UNBC Alumni Association. We have established several scholarships and bursaries, have been a major sponsor of UNBC Athletics, for several years were the title sponsor of the UNBC Alumni Charity Golf Tournament, and sponsored the Move-In BBQ for students in residence. We are proud to have employed a number of both UNBC students and alumni. All of us at Brownridge & Company have a passion for our university and everything it means to our region.
  • Kordyban Lodge

Brian Brownridge served as Interior Chair of the Campaign Cabinet to raise the $12 million needed to build Kordyban Lodge. In addition to Brian's personal efforts in this initiative, the Brownridge family was a major donor to the lodge, in memory of Judith Brownridge.
  • Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation

Brownridge & Company Insurance and the Brownridge Family have made an ongoing commitment to healthcare initiatives in our region. We have given our long term financial support to a range of causes for The Spirit of The North.
  • B.C. Children's Hospital

Due to its importance for all children throughout British Columbia, the Brownridge family has been a contributor to the capital campaign to help build a new Children's Hospital for our province.
  • Variety Club of B.C.

Brian & Jackie Brownridge have been longtime financial supporters of Variety, in recognition of the great work they do for the special needs of children in Northern B.C.
